Immediate Payments

Use immediate payments when you need to send funds outside the regular payment cycle. The system checks the payment for validation issues and duplicates, then processes it using the available funds in your specified source account.

Immediate payments operate in the same way as Foundation API transactions, but with an enhanced, subscription-based, capability. If the source account does not hold sufficient funds at the time the payment is instructed, the payment is automatically placed in a queue. It remains pending until the required funds become available in the account. Once funding is received, the payment is immediately processed without any further action required.

Supported payment methods

You can use immediate payments to send funds by:

• Bank transfer, including SEPA transfer
• Postal cheque (US only)
• Echeck (US only)

💡

Immediate payments can be sent in a different currency from the source account. The platform automatically handles the FX conversion using the applicable rate at the time of processing.
