How recipients access their payments
When you make a payment, Vitesse generates a secure link for the recipient to access their payment. Your company may choose to deliver the link through its own channel, or via a branded email sent by Vitesse. They configure the branded email in the Programme.
The branded email includes at least one Trust Method, such as a claim number or policy ID, to reassure the recipient that the message is legitimate and comes from a trusted source.
Use the payment link
The recipient opens the email, then selects Receive Your Payment.
This opens a secure page in their browser that guides them through the process.
Complete security checks
The recipient verifies their identity using one or both of the following methods, depending on how the associated Programme is configured:
- A one-time verification code sent to their phone by SMS
- A passphrase agreed with the recipient ahead of the payment
Accept payment
The recipient verifies the payment details. They must Accept the payment to proceed.
Provide payment information
The recipient:
- Selects how to receive the payment
- Enters their payment details
- Enters any personal information required for the selected payment method
Complete the payment instruction
The recipient selects Confirm to submit their information. The system displays a confirmation message and sends a Payment Instructions Received email.
